Oshiro 500mm f/6.3

Super Telephoto Lens

[Available Summer 2016]

Oshiro's 500mm f/6.3 is a manual focus lens offers the utmost in optical construction, including ultra-low dispersion lens elements. Low dispersion glass offers superior sharpness and color correction by minimizing chromatic aberration. The lens is built with 4 elements in 4 groups with Oshiro's patented optical structure to provide image clarity and color. The f6.3 maximum aperture complements working in difficult lighting. Ultra nano crystal multi-coating eliminates lens element reflections and reduces ghost and flare.

The Oshiro 500mm telephoto lens is incredibly lightweight (only 55oz). It is ideally suited for wildlife and sports photography. It has a fixed aperture of f/6.3. When used with the T-mount to fit your camera system, this lens mounts to camera and works on both "full frame" cameras as well as the "APS-C" style digital SLR cameras.

  • Using this on a Sony NEX with adapter. This will replace the Canon 50mm lens. Its awesome. A little flary but i think thats from the lens adapter. It is extremely solid and well built. I willbe posting a review to youtube very soon. Im looking forward to seeing what else this company has to offer in the coming months. BTW its so affordable that i am selling my Rokino 35mm and Canon 50mm so i will have $350-$500 in actual profit to spend on other gear.

  • Recently purchased this lens, and I am surprised by how high quality it is. Images are very clear and the bokeh is nice also, I absolutely love the metal construction of the lens. Well worth over $300.
